How Screen Printing Orders Work

Minimum Order Quantities

Our minimum order depends on the number of ink colors in your design:

1–3 Color Designs: 12 pieces minimum
4–6 Color Designs: 24 pieces minimum

We specialize in spot-color screen printing with up to 6 ink colors. We do not offer four-color process printing.

Print Locations

We can print in a variety of locations, including:

Front • Back • Sleeves • Inside Labels

Each print location is priced separately.

Screen & Film Setup Fees

Each ink color at each print location requires its own screen and film.

Screen Setup: $45 per color/per print location
Film: $5 per color/per print location

For example, a design with a 2-color front and a 1-color back requires three screens and three films.

Garments

You are welcome to provide your own garments, or we can help you select and order garments from a wide variety of styles, brands and colors for your project.

Turnaround Time & Payment

Our typical turnaround time is 7–14 days.

Turnaround time begins after your artwork has been approved, garment selection has been finalized, and your 50% deposit has been received.

A 50% deposit is required to begin your order. The remaining balance is due when your order is completed.

Turnaround times may vary depending on garment availability, order size and the complexity of the project.

Artwork Requirements for Screen Printing

To produce the best possible print quality, we need artwork that meets certain specifications. If you're unsure whether your artwork is suitable, don't worry — we're happy to take a look at your files and help determine what is needed.

Digital artwork must be submitted in accepted formats only.

Preferred Vector Artwork

• Adobe Illustrator (.AI), .EPS, or vector .PDF files are preferred.
• Convert all fonts/type to outlines whenever possible.
• For spot-color printing, use spot colors and include Pantone (PMS) numbers if specific color matching is required.
• Make sure all linked images are embedded or included with the artwork.
• Artwork should be created at the intended print size whenever possible.

Raster / Photoshop Artwork

• Artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the actual size it will be printed.
• Whenever possible, keep individual ink colors on separate layers.
• Do not enlarge a small or low-resolution image to meet the required print size, as this will not improve image quality.
• JPG and PNG files may be acceptable depending on the artwork and resolution.
• For logos, lettering and spot-color designs, vector artwork is strongly preferred.

Accepted File Formats

• Preferred: Adobe Illustrator (.AI), .EPS, vector .PDF
• Also accepted: .PSD, high-resolution .PNG, .JPG and .TIFF
• Other file types may be usable depending on the artwork. If you're unsure, send us what you have and we'll take a look.
